Jani Muuronen

I am an operational and commercial executive with a career in IT spanning nearly 30 years across four decades. I started as a developer and have since led organizations of 10+ people as a line manager, built sales organizations by scaling a sales team from 1 → 7 sellers, and helped companies scale at various stages of growth.

I have served over 8 years in operational leadership (COO) and over 5 years in commercial leadership (CCO), as well as CEO in three companies — one as an employed managing director and two in companies I owned. I have carried P&L responsibility for over €25M in revenue across six budget years total.

My developer background means I understand technology at a deep level — not just the surface. I know what's happening under the hood, and I can separate real potential from hype. In AI this shows concretely: I have four of my own AI agent systems running in production.

Because I also have broad experience building and leading companies, I have more business acumen than most technology consultants — and more technology understanding than most interim executives.
